Some do not have enough RAM memory space in relation to the mega requiring some programs or games, which is why, when such programs are implemented, if memory does not have the megabytes that requires the computer slows down. If it is closed, the computer returns to normal although somewhat "touched" and will run slower than normal by the "remnants" of memory that have made applications.
This trick will be able to clean up the RAM of your computer
Open notepad.
• If your computer has a 128 MB RAM or more type "Mystring = (80000000)" with seven zeros after the 8 and without quotation marks.
• If your PC has less than 128 MB you write "Mystring = (16000000)" without quotes and with six zeroes after 16.
When finished writing the values indicated in each case, save this document where you want, with the name "document.vbe".
Now, every time you want to refresh your memory of your computer will need to double-click on this document notice some improvement.

Marvelous idea. Would these make my computer work faster? If so I have done it but I haven't seen any improvement. Do I need to clean memory.
